About Business Klarity

Two founders. Nearly forty years of senior commercial experience. One reason this exists.

When we each looked back at the careers we'd left behind, we realised we'd used the same words to describe what made us walk away. Just another number.

Mia spent 28 years at the top of major commercial businesses such as Dyson, Boots, Bupa. Multi-million pound P&Ls. Boardrooms. National accountability. Then a redundancy that, in her words, felt almost like a sign.

Anita spent more than a decade running multi-million pound accounts for the major UK grocery retailers. Senior account management, national product launches, the relentless pace of retail. Then a maternity leave with her second child made her realise she wasn’t going back.

Different careers. Different decades. Same conclusion: I’m replaceable. I’m invisible. I’m just a number.

We started Business Klarity because we didn’t want the people running their own businesses to ever feel like that about the thing they’d built.

CO-FOUNDER

Mia Dooley

Mia Dooley. Profit-focused business support. Business Klarity

28 years in senior corporate roles. One redundancy. One realisation. And a business built on what she learned from all of it.

The short version

Mia spent nearly three decades running multi-million pound business units at Dyson, Boots and Bupa before being made redundant. She describes that moment as “almost a sign.” Today she works with ambitious business owners who are brilliant at what they do but struggling to turn that hard work into real, consistent profit — bringing the same commercial rigour she used at boardroom level to businesses that need it most.

She doesn’t believe in silver bullets. She doesn’t believe in seven clients in five days. She believes in clarity, structure, and the quiet, real work of building a business that actually pays the person running it.

"I spent 28 years being a number in someone else's business. Now I help business owners build something that's properly theirs - properly profitable, properly run, properly worth it."

MIA DOOLEY

Before Business Klarity.

For 28 years, Mia had what most people would call a successful career. Senior commercial roles at Dyson, Boots and Bupa. Multi-million pound P&Ls. Large teams. Real accountability. The company car, the private healthcare, the well-paid job and the constant travel up and down the country that came with it. She was good at it. She was driven. She believed she was invincible.

The turning point.

After nearly three decades of building a career inside other people’s businesses, she was made redundant. It wasn’t a crisis. It was almost a sign. What hit hardest in the weeks that followed wasn’t the loss of the role. It was the quiet realisation that after all those years – she was, in the end, just a number.

What she built instead.

She wasn’t going back to a world that dictated her time, her choices and her worth. Today, Mia works with ambitious business owners who are excellent at what they do but struggling to turn that hard work into real, consistent profit – bringing nearly three decades of senior commercial experience into every engagement.

What she believes.

She believes in something quieter and more honest. Clarity. Structure. The slow, real work of building a business that supports the life of the person running it. A business that pays you properly. A business that gives you back your time. That’s what success actually looks like.

Anita. Profit-focused business support. Business Klarity

CO-FOUNDER

Anita Djuheric

Anita. Profit-focused business support. Business Klarity

Ten years running multi-million pound accounts. One maternity leave that changed everything. And a business built on the belief that no one should have to choose between growing their business and being there for their life.

The short version

Anita spent more than a decade in senior account management roles, running multi-million pound P&Ls for major grocery retailers, until maternity leave with her second child made her realise she wasn’t going back. Today she leads the implementation side of Business Klarity, working alongside a small, hand-picked team to take strategy off the business owner’s plate and turn it into something that actually gets done.

She believes most businesses don’t fail because they lack ideas. They fail because the ideas never get implemented. And the answer isn’t to automate the humanity out of your business — it’s to do the right things, properly, with the right people.

"I spent ten years working every hour for somebody else's business. Now I help business owners stop doing the same thing, so they can grow without losing the life they built it for."

Anita Djuheric

Before Business Klarity.

For more than ten years, Anita built her career inside some of the most demanding commercial environments in the country. Senior account management roles supplying the major grocery retailers. Multi-million pound P&Ls. National product launches at relentless retail pace. The pay was strong. The toll was bigger than any of it. The message was always the same: you are replaceable. You are just another number.

The turning point.

The turning point came on maternity leave with her second child. She remembers the dread — counting down the weeks before she had to hand her child over and walk back into a world that wanted all of her, for someone else’s business. She wasn’t going back.

What she built instead.

She went back to every commercial skill she’d built over a decade — pricing, planning, account management, structured execution at pace — applied this time to her own business, and to the businesses of the people she chose to help. Today she leads implementation alongside a small, hand-picked team.

What she believes.

Strategy without execution is just an expensive document on someone’s desktop. The work has to happen. What she protects most fiercely is time – time with her family, time to be present, time to live the life she walked away from corporate to build.

Why we built this together

Mia and Anita didn’t set out to write the same story. But when we each sat down at the start of Business Klarity and talked about why we’d left the careers we’d built, we realised we’d used the exact same words to describe it.

Just another number

Just a number

Mia brings the strategy. The commercial rigour. The view from the boardroom and the experience of knowing what good business actually looks like.

Anita brings the implementation. The execution. The team. The relentless ability to take a plan and turn it into something that’s actually working in the business by the end of the month.

Between us, that’s nearly forty years of senior commercial experience now focused entirely on helping ambitious business owners build something that pays them properly, runs properly, and gives them their lives back.

How we work

Business Klarity

Every business we work with is different. But the way we work is consistent.

We start with the whole picture

We look at the six things that actually determine whether a business works: profit, revenue leaks, operating engine, marketing flow, internal capacity and tracking. That’s the Profit Driver System.

We focus on what moves the needle

Most owners are doing too much. We help you stop doing the things that don’t matter and start doing the things that do — then make sure they actually get done.

We stay in your corner

We’re not a one-off solution. We’re the people you call when something’s not working, or you need an honest answer about whether something’s worth doing.

What you can expect from us

Honest answers

Even when they’re not what you want to hear. Especially then.

Real experience

Nearly forty years of it, between us. Applied to your business, not somebody else’s case study.

Standards

Held to the same level we’d hold our own business to. How you do anything is how you do everything.

Care

Your business matters to us. Your time matters to us. Your clients matter to us. We don’t take any of that lightly.

If any of this sounds like the kind of people you want in your corner, let's talk.
